Your Locations

1. Overview

"Your Locations" section offers an overview of all your activated locations. Here, you can monitor details such as Ratings, Activity, Completion Score, and Verification Status for each individual location.
Additionally, you'll find an aggregate Health Score reflecting the completeness average score of all your Google locations information.

2. Create a new location

To create a new location on Google Maps via the platform follow these steps: 
  1. Click on "Add Location" located at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select "Create a location" for the relevant brand.
  3. Fill in all the required information for the new location.
  4. Enter the address details or Plus Code and pinpoint the exact location of the business on the map.
  5. Wait a couple of seconds and refresh your page to be able to see the new activated location.

What is a Plus Code?

A Plus Code is a simple alphanumeric code that can be used to identify any location on the globe. It's especially useful for areas without formal street addresses or for pinpointing specific locations within a larger address.

How to Find a Plus Code:

From Google Maps

  1. Open Google Maps and find your location.
  2. Click on the location to drop a pin.
  3. The Plus Code will appear in the location details. It typically looks like a combination of letters and numbers, for example, "MMRP+CP Al Olaya, Riyadh Saudi Arabia"

3. Activate an existing location

To activate an already available location on your Google Business Profile follow these steps
  1. Click on "Add Location" located at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select "Activate location" for the relevant brand.

  3. Choose the location you want to activate from the list of available locations.

  4. Click the "Activate" button to confirm and complete the activation process.


4. Edit a Location’s Information

Regularly updating your location's information ensures your business details are always up to date, significantly enhancing your online presence and credibility. Providing accurate and current information helps customers find your business, understand your services, and know your operating hours. An up-to-date profile with a higher completion score not only boosts your search engine rankings but also builds customer trust, driving increased engagement and fostering substantial business growth.

  • Update your basic information by adding a cover photo and logo to visually represent your business. Provide a detailed description of your business and ensure it is correctly categorized
  • Manage your opening hours by adjusting the regular hours for each day of the week, indicating holidays or special days that affect operating hours, and adding specific function hours such as delivery or click & collect
  • Complete your profile by adding accurate contact information, website, phone number, and social media links and upload images to the “Gallery” to visually showcase your business.

  • Add your store code and mark the business as temporarily or permanently closed if needed under the advanced settings menu.


5. Edit in Bulk Locations’ Information

To efficiently manage multiple locations, utilize the bulk editing feature to apply consistent changes across several locations simultaneously, saving time and ensuring uniformity.

Navigate to the "Your Locations" section under “Get Seen.” Select the locations you wish to edit by checking the boxes or utilizing search and filter options. Click on "Bulk Actions" and select “Update.” Proceed to make relevant edits, such as updating opening hours, contact details, or descriptions across all selected locations.
